I am currently working on The Book of Ganymede, a years long project inspired by illuminated manuscripts. Using authentic medieval techniques passed down through centuries, I create my own paints from scratch, craft ink from oak galls, and fashion quills from goose feathers to create pieces of art, with the aims to create an illuminated manuscript, painted, scribed and bound using as close to authentic techniques as I can. This meticulous process allows me to connect deeply with the old world, embracing the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. In a time where AI continues to expand its reach, I find my creativity thrives in the tactile, the tangible, and the timeless tradition of working with my hands—where the heart of true artistry resides.
